  • slipping ....

I'm losing my grip on xanga it seems ......... just having a hard time coming by and keeping up with everyone's blogging - and I know I'm probably missing some great stuff.    And then there's my own blogging which has taken a turn for the worse ........ sigh.     Good intentions, but man,  what happens?????

I think I need to make a list of blogging topics and go from there ......... what does everyone else do?  How do you make time to blog?

Well I do hope you stick around. Xanga wouldn't be the same without you.

    Thanks for Sharing!

    Ditto @nidan's comment...

Nicole, I do think there are periods where the average person just won't blog so often. I blog b/c I see it as a ministry plus it's also a way to really cement in my heart and mind what God's been teaching me. It does take a LOT of time.

I blog when I have time to sit down and do so. My blogs are pretty generic (updates on how life has been). So much more I could write about but rather than cause controversy I keep that to myself.
I check out a few blogs fairly regularly.
I don't feel pressure to write all the time as I know not everyone has time to do it for themselves. I enjoy updates even if it's on a monthly basis.
I also really enjoy your birthing blogs and things to do with pregnancy even though I'm past that stage. I've learned a lot from you.

I've stopped reading novels in order to make time for blogging and reading blogs- they are more interesting than most novels and involve characters I know and truly care about (:

before xanga, facebook, msn chat, and etc I was a fairly busy guy, now that these blog's and the like have come along nothing has changed and I am still a fairly busy guy. I don't blog, I occasionlly read the short ones and only that of family. This is second comment on xanga ever. I personally would rather put my time dealing with people and or getting/giving advice in a personal way and not on the computer. My fear is that all this relational stuff on the computer is taking away from building social skills that are used face to face. (especially the upcoming generation)  Of course this is a broad generalization and doesn't apply to everyone. So keep blogging if you must and just set yourself a goal or a time restriction as to when and how long you will blog. there's my 2 cents..

I know what you mean... Time..... We are slaves to the clock!

But! You need to keep reading and commenting on mine!

I am terrible at keeping up with blogs, e-mails, facebook, etc. lately.  It goes in spurts but at the moment I need to my time for packing, baking for grads, etc.  Maybe once we settle in Hamilton, I may get back on the bandwagon.
